Chicken Coop

Well, were in the EGG business :) Kim and I went to get the babies yesterday. It's been so much fun and I'm looking forward to some fresh eggs next month. :) They have so many options for chicken coops but I chose this one. It wasn't to hard to put together but luckily Kims husband reenforced it so predators can't get in. Coops start at $100 and go up.

Meet the babes

Juicy...I think she looks like Roxy so I may change her name

Ms. Coco Chanel

Gucci

Red Rosy

Merlot...but Kim and I don't think that fits her :)

Roxy isn't sure what she thinks of the chickens...this is as close as she gets.
Here they are on their first night :)

Eiffel Tower

I have a love for Eiffel towers...not sure why. I didn't realize I have so many around the house. Do you like them?

Here are mine :)

I have this one in my bedroom...found it at a garage sale

This one is in the kitchen...it came from a souvenir shop in Paris.

I keep this huge one in my office, it came from Target about 6 years ago.

And last...my key chain :) I have a souvenir shelf in my office

Now to the professionals

Costco Patio Furniture

I got my Costco order in yesterday! Anytime I order something online I get nervous, I like to see things in person but after everything was out of the box it was even better than I expected! It also has subrella material cushions and pillows. If you haven't heard about Subrella google it, it's a must in the Florida sun. I give it 5 stars!

The reason why I love this set?? This sectional is stackable for easy storage, has an all weather resin wicker, and you can arrange it however you want. I took some pictures below of different ways you can arrange it, and yes I'm to lazy to use my nice camera so Iphone pictures are posted.

You can make two separate chaise loungers like this...and it came with that cute little tray!

You can make a day bed, this actually is the most comfortable way.

The basic sofa layout with a chaise lounger and ottoman coffee table

You can make a sofa with two separate chairs
...or a sofa with two chaises attached.
I really like it and if your looking for some patio furniture don't wait until next spring when everything is marked up, get your stuff now with the end of the summer sales. (Home Depot has tons of patio stuff on clearance right now)

PAINTING

I finally got my painting done! It took me 3 days to paint 3 walls! I HATED EVERY MINUTE OF IT, but all of my hard work paid off because the black turned out great. I know this isn't a great picture but I have nothing in that room yet. Still debating if the zebra print should hang on the black. I think it needs some more color...don't you? I could always hang it on the opposite wall since I left it white. I love gold on black so I'm thinking about painting some of my mirrors gold. I'll post those pictures when I'm finished.

I'm so upset that TJ MAXX, HomeGoods, and Marshalls HAVE NO PUMPKIN MEN! BUT I did find this cute little BOO light :) Maybe pumpkin man will come out in September.

I found this mirrored votive for $1 at my favorite thrift store! I also found an italian leather chair that's COMFORTABLE and GORGIOUS! I'll post those pictures later. I'm redoing my loft area and I stuck the chair up there.

Look at this sweet baby. She loves sleeping on my lap while I work. She has her liver test next week, please wish us luck!

Weekend

On Friday me and BOBO the cat made our drive up to Tallahassee. It was 3 hours of HELL. The cat was screaming the entire time, I was crying the first part of the trip because I was sad that BoBo was leaving and he had to say goodbye to the dogs, but once I got up there I knew BoBo was in his forever home. That night Bryan grilled delish steaks and Brandi and I enjoyed some wine. Thank you Brandi and Bryan for cooking for me all weekend...it was delish. It's always nice to see Brandi and I was so thankful she took the cat. Now I can visit him and get weekly pictures. THANK YOU BRANDI!

Baby Bree named BoBo :) Here is Brandi and Bo relaxing Sat night...

Here is Bell, BoBo's sister.

I headed home Sunday morning. While getting gas in Lake City I looked up and saw a beautiful TJ Maxx shining down the street..so I stopped.

I got this metallic leather bag for the summer...it's better in person :)

I like the heavy hardware

I also found this suitcase on sale along with a neck rest for our trip next week.

When I got home I was amazed how much the garden has grown in 2 days!

I missed the corn chips...doesn't Roxy look like a Meercat? She's a guard dog.

What I've Been Up TO

A couple of weeks ago I was looking back at my past archives and loved how I had a diary to look back on at all the great times. Here of late, mostly because of twitter and instagram I post my pictures there and forget about my blog. I'm going to try to start doing what I used to do so I can have this took look back on.

1. My beautiful mom celebrated her # # ?? BIRTHDAY last week! We got her a flower pot and took her out to Blue Zoo, a Todd English restaurant located in the Dolphin Resort. (TIP: If you go YOU MUST GET THE SCALLOP and braised short rib appetizer...get it as a MEAL and trust me on this one, it's DEVINE)

My main course was tile fish with lobster and crab sprinkled on top :)

2. Last week a stray SICK cat jumped in my lap! This WAS very shocking because usually the dogs wouldn't allow this. He had a swollen nose and couldn't breathe because he was so sick. I took him to the vet and he was tested for everything. When the vet came back to the room he asked...do you know what kind of cat this is? NO...it's a rare breed called a Bangel. GOOGLE IT...the Bangel cats are very different. All his tests came back ok other than a bad respiratory infection. He's on antibiotics and leaves for his forever home this evening.

Here is a pic of him from this morning enjoying his last hours at our house...I'm actually tearing up for some reason

and...

GUESS WHERE HE'S GOING! TALLAHASSEE!! Brandi fell in love with him and is adopting Mr. Boss...me and him will be making the fun 3 hour drive at 3.

3.
Tuesday we attended Tavistock. Robin and I had such a great time. Robins house looks out on the 11th hole so we had good seats.

4. Velvet found a ceramic pumpkin in the yard...she must be ready for pumpkin man! (Here's one thing Velvet and I have in common)

5. AND this little girl is growing like a weed! She has brought SO MUCH JOY into our home...she really is the sweetest thing! Here she is in her favorite spot while I'm working at my desk...doesn't look to comfortable does it?

6. This face wash is GREAT! Allie turned me on to it's sister in St. Thomas (apricot scrub) I wanted to try one of the other ones and chose this one. It leaves your face feeling tingling and cool...I LOVE IT! AND if you haven't treid this eye makeup remover it's GREAT. Not oily and takes off your eye makeup in one sweep....

Hope everyone enjoys their weekend. Wish me and the cat good luck for our trip up there this weekend. THANK YOU
