For lunch I went simple and made hamburgers and a fresh banana pudding. Jim and I have decided to go watch the fireworks at the lake so I have made things to put in my picnic basket. I have had this basket for 4 years and this is the first time using it. We will have cucumber and onion salad with a sweet vinegar dressing, garlic herb crackers with smoked cheddar cheese, basil pesto olives stuffed with garlic, and a nice chilled sauvignon blanc.
Now if our 4th of July picnic gets rained out I will fire up the egg and we will have honey glazed pork tenderloin, grilled squash, and garlic mashed potatoes and acourse the sauvignon blanc. Enjoy your 4th!

jealous, jealous jealous! for dinner last night i had gardettos and twizzlers. NOT my idea of a 4th of july feast!=(
