St. Thomas Part 2

Our first night we ate at Havana Blue, an Asian/Latin fusion restaurant. This place was DELISH! We got chili miso soaked shrimp with black bean hummus and mini cilantro steak tacos for an appetizer. For the main course I got a seafood bowl, which consisted of lobster, shrimp, fish, squid, clams, I could go on and on soaked in a tomato Latin broth, it was so good!! Jim had cocoa chili crusted steak with a lime butter soaked lobster tail, HEAVEN to my taste buds. He gets embarassed when I take pictures of my food so I wasn't able to get a shot of his :(

Our Second night we ate at The Agave Terrace. It’s a Caribbean Seafood restaurant nestled on a cliff side with beautiful views of the islands. It was amazing!

The next morning we went on a FULL day fishing trip, I ended up sleeping most of the time, we only caught 1 tiny tuna the size of a football. I did enjoy the beautiful views of all the islands..and lets just say I got a few bed bug bites from the 1980's cushions I was sleeping on!! BUT I'm ok now so I wont talk much about it.

That night we celebrated our 2 year anniversary with a glass of champagne. We ate at the hotel and had sushi and Asian noodle skirt steak. The sushi was A+!!!

Our last night we headed to Bluebeard's Castle which is an historic property dating back to the 1600's. The resort occupies an entire hilltop with spectacular views overlooking the harbor and town of Charlotte Amalie. Their restaurant is named, Room with View, and let me tell you the view was amazing…We got to set out on the terrace and overlook the town, while we enjoyed Bellini’s, it was FUN : ) I ended up getting seafood with white wine sauce and Jim had chicken marsala.

St. Thomas was great and I hated to leave. Jim and I will definitely be going back. Here I am saying goodbye to the beach. It was a great 2 year anniversary. Thank you JIM
