My Halloween Decor

We finally have our internet back! For all of you that don't know me very well, I LOVE PUMPKINS! I've been collecting pumpkin men for a long time. I also have some growing in my garden (not going so well )

I wanted to share some of my Halloween decor with you guys :)

Halloween Costumes

I haven't dressed up for Halloween in over 10 years. This year I'm having a costume party and I wont lie, I'M EXCITED!

I've been running for my Halloween costume this year. I'm going to be PUMPKIN WOMAN...well if she fits. Right now I look like a stuffed sausage. Plan B is a vampire in a black slimming dress with spanx.

Bear is going to be a bucking bull. He's excited about it. I wanted him to be a pumpkin with me but he went behind my back and ordered this from target.com. Harley and Velvet don't want to be anything. Harley's afraid of his own shadow and Velvet would have hers chewed off within 4 minutes.

Halloween Labels

First, I wanted to share a picture of puppy Tootie Jane with her werwolf...she wants to be a lobster for Halloween.

I made Halloween stickers from address labels on my computer

It's EASY

1) Go to google images and type in your keyword...I used POISON

2) Save image and paste it on your address label

3) PRINT

4) I colored in some of my label with brown shades

I'm also going to make new labels and have them orange. I will stick them on the water bottles for the Halloween Party, it's CHEAP and EASY. Wait, who drinks water at a Halloween party?

Another cheap decoration is the spider web, and it makes this chair.

These are all wine bottles except for the spider tonic one, that was a peppermint schapps bottle.

My Halloween Decor Video

I'm finally home and trying to get back into the swing of things. I haven't even loaded any more pictures from the trip. Hopefully I will be in the mood soon. When we got back we had to put my mom's dog to sleep, it broke my heart because I was close with Gidget. She was the sweetest dog and spent many nights over with our dogs. After Gidget's passing we decided to save a dog in honor of her life so mom and I went and got Tootie Jane, a tiny beaten puppy that's the most grateful pooch in the world. Were all in love with her, she such a smart dog. I will try to take pictures soon and tell you her story.

For now heres a video of MY PUMPKIN MEN! :) I'm so ready for FALL!

Pumpkins & SPIDERS

On Sunday I messed around with some food coloring, I stuck 2 drops of yellow and 2 drops of red and it made these beautiful tie die colors. SO, I have come up with an idea...I'm going to make candy corn martini's like this: Simple Syrup, mango vodka, and a few drops of orange and yellow, and the end result will look like this! Isn't it cute! I bet sprite would work, and diet sprite would make these bad boys only 2 points!

Hers was really the best, it looked like a REAL pumpkin, I can also tell you it made her day :)

Pumpkin Man Tapas Party

I'm very excited to say I'm throwing my first HALLOWEEN TAPAS PARTY next Friday night! I received a call last night from mom, she threw out the idea to have a party...I have been wanting to start a dinner club for A WHILE NOW, and with mom working at the school, she has managed to meet some very fun ladies!

NEXT STEP..PLAN A MENU!

Candy corn Martini's and Orange Sangria...how does that sound for a start :)

I love PUMPKINS

This weekend I'm carving some pumpkins...I'm not sure what I want to do, I want to be different, but then again I love the traditional jacolantern. I found some good ideas, I have posted the pictures below.

Does everyone have their Halloween decor out?? Who all decorates? I would love to see your comments on your HALLOWEEN DECOR! I would love some ideas.

This week were all going to Halloween Horror Nights, at Universal Studios...I have went every year since I moved to Florida, I love being scared to death. This year is mom's first visit and all I can say is last time she went into a haunted house, she came out with wet pants. This should be fun :)

Sneak Peek

Yesterday Mom and I had a great time going through the Halloween décor, I can’t believe how much I have and I’m only in my mid 20’s…I made a promise to myself to only buy pumpkin’s that I LOVE instead of everyone pumpkin man I see. Here are a few pictures I took, I will take more pictures of everything and post them closer to Halloween.
