I've been collecting glass ornaments since childhood so my tree is very traditional and sentimental. I also have TONS of glitter on it :) I'll take better pictures of the tree with my nice camera when everything is done :)

I Love Glitter

These glitter birds are from Crate and Barrel, but for a cheaper alternative go to Dollar Tree or Wal-Mart and glitter your own birds :) You can find buckets of glitter online for a fraction of the price.

Lit Mercury Glass Balls

I was at Pottery Barn last week and saw these lit mercury balls and fell in love with them. They have them as Christmas decor but I would keep them out all year. If your at the mall I suggest you go take a look at them :) The price for all 3 isn't to bad but still high. I'm so cheap and want to find them for less. I think the small goes for $24.50, med: $36.50, and the large is $54.50.

Crystal Tree's

You know I love crystals. Here is a picture of my last years tables-cape decorations for Christmas. Click here to go to the crystal decor.

I have found so many great ideas this year and wanted to share one. These crystal trees would be so easy to make. All you need is a branch, flower pot, spray paint, and crystal chandelier pieces (I find my crystals at garage sales from cheap chandeliers). You could also use clear glass Christmas ornaments, which are cheap and easy to find.

Easy Cheap Tablescape

I found these cones at Wal-Mart last year at the after Christmas sales. I also got the glitter balls and cheap wreath last year for 80% off. :) They still have the holly berry wreaths for $7.99 this year at our Wal-Mart..which isn't a bad price.

With a little bit of hot glue you can have this. I just stuck clusters of glitter balls on the wreath and glued the cones in the center. It was easy and cheap. You could use any wreath and place anything in the middle. For example: Nutcrackers, Snowmen, etc...you get the idea :)

Coffee Table "GOLD Tablescape" or "Table Top Tree"

My mom has had my camera card ever-since New York so I'm sorry for all of these Iphone pictures. I will try to take better ones once It's back in my hands.

This year since I'm doing everything different, I did a tablescape on my coffee table in the formal since my Christmas tree isn't in there this year. Every year we have placed the tree in the corner and this year it's in our main living room so I can enjoy it while a cook and watch TV. I love the new change :) So when you walk in you see this, instead of our tree.

I took a gold glittered branch and stuck simple ornaments on it. I love GLITTER.

Christmas Decorating BEGINS!! SNEAK PEAK

Has anyone else started decorating for Christmas? I love having the tree up for Thanksgiving. It makes the house so much more cozier for the turkey dinner. I don't know what it is about lights but the dogs had a blast watching me decorate. I have stuck Velvets bed underneath the tree this year and she hasn't moved an inch! (this is a good thing)

Don't ask me why but I LOVE MAKING VIDEOS! Jim isn't the best producer/interviewer, he even zoomed over the christmas MESS I had made on the dining room table, but that's ok.

This year I wanted to do something different. I usually have the same thing over and over each year and I was bored with it. This year instead of the red, silver, and gold I did the formal living and dining room ALL in GOLD. So far I love it.

I found these mirrored gold picks for $0.75 2 years ago at OOPS in AR. Does anyone have Oops? I'm guessing there is only one. If anyone lives close to Oops, YOU HAVE TO GO!

I'm placing these gold leaf picks in my stemless wine glasses for the dining table. You can find them at Michael's for 50 cents!

Christmas in March

Brandi and I didn’t get to celebrate Christmas like last year so we celebrated a couple of weeks ago. She gets the most thoughtful gifts and I wanted to share them with you. I will start off with my favorite, this bird! The bird can be used as a push pin or a tape measure. I have never seen anything like it; you just push his belly and the tail tape measure fly’s back into his stomach! Isn’t he cute?

Purse Brush

Purse light, you just press the corner and it gives off a strong light (Used this for my walk the other night, works good)

Bye Bye Mobile!

We leave Mobile tonight for our long travels to Bella Vista. I love driving at night durning Christmas time! We take the back way all the way up the Mississippi river and I get to see millions of christmas lights on the way. Last year I enjoyed the Mississippi river bottoms so much we kept driving all night until 3 in the morning, It reminded me of Huckleberry Finn. Wish us safe driving in our travels!

Santa Baby

On our first stop, Pensacola, FL, I got to spend the night with my friend Ashley and her 2 month old son Davin. He is the best baby, he didn't cry or wake us up in the middle of the night. I wanted to share this photo of his Santa suit, isn't he cute. How do I look holding a 2 month old?....yea that's what I thought, wait another 4 years and then think about it :) Until then, I will hold babies to hold me over.

P.S. My best friend Brandi is expecting next year! I can't wait to see her little booger :)

Elf on the Shelf

Here is a fun new tradition you can start with your family. Elf on the Shelf is a little elf doll that reports directly to Santa Claus. Kids can tell the elf their Christmas wishes. They may also want to be on their very best behavior as the Elf on the Shelf has Santa's ear. Some children also like to name their elf. Place the little elf around your home during the weeks before Christmas. During the holidays the elf watches children carefully during the day. At night when the kids are sleeping the elf magically returns to the North Pole to report to Santa Claus.
