I still remember exactly what I was doing on the morning of 9/11. It was my junior year of high school, I was in my 2nd hour of history class and our substitute teacher turned on the TV for us to watch. Just a week earlier our history teacher Coach Stith dropped dead of a heart attack while walking into our room to teach us that morning. We were already in a state of sadness. Watching the second plane hit will always be engraved in my mind, it was a horrible day that will never be forgotten. I truly think 9/11 brought us Americans closer. I just can't believe it's been 10 years.

I was a junior in high school as well. I was in my cosmetology class taking a written test. We turned on the television after we all finished and watched in awe. I will never forget.
